Event Info
Summary:

Donor giving is down in Canada…could it be that we have not extended an invitation to build in charitable giving into Estate Planning. The subject of Philanthropy is not new and yet we hear all too often from Donors that their Professional Advisor never mentioned options on how they wish to leave a legacy of generosity.

Join us for a cross-functional discussion of where we are at with charitable giving, and what else is necessary to grow this important element of our practices.

Panel leader:

Mike Todd, Founder, Transform Philanthropy

Mike finds himself at the intersection of wealth management and philanthropy, having spent a lot of time in both sectors. He’s worked on Bay Street and Hastings Street and streets in between and is driven by his desire to spread the magic of generosity. Most recently he founded Transform Philanthropy, and spends most of his time helping charities, advisors and donors understand the unique benefits of donor-advised funds (DAFS).
