Plan to attend the October 29 CAGP-NS program to hear APRIL HOWE, Partner with Knightsbridge Robertson Surrette (KBRS).  April will challenge your perceptions about online networking platforms such as LinkedIn and demonstrate how LinkedIn provides numerous ways to connect with key decision makers, build your personal brand, and conduct market research and gather business intelligence.  Learn how to leverage the world's leading business-oriented social network, create your presence, and build YOUR brand.

April has worked as a Consultant and Career Coach for 13 years and is trained in group Facilitation, Mediation and Conflict Management.  Certified as a Career Coach in 2008, she became a member of the International Coaching Federation, Nova Scotia Chapter.  Prior to joining KBRS, April held marketing and senior administrative roles within the federal government, recruitment, and communications sectors.

An active community member, April sits on the Boards for the Halifax Partnership, United Way Halifax Region and Black Business Initiative.  Formerly, April was Chair of the Africville Heritage Trust and served as HR Chair of Dress for Success. Involved with the Co-operative Housing Sector for over 15 years, she served on the Board of a local 60-unit housing co-operative and the Cooperative Housing Federation of Canada's Diversity Committee representing Atlantic Canada.
