About the presenter: Gary Wardrop is a Partner at Wealthlink Financial Services, a boutique-style MGA situated in the heart of the Okanagan, which offers advisors the support of a dedicated team.  In 1990 he made his beginning with a major Canadian insurer as a marketing manager in the employee benefits field.  After a number of years in various management rolls, Gary left to become a broker in Vancouver specializing in Living Benefits and Integrated Benefit Plans.  In 2010 Gary became an Associate with wealthLINK Financial.  He has been a member of Advocis since 1990, a CLU since 1994 and an RHU since 2009.  As well, Gary has been a main platform speaker at Advocis schools and National living Benefit conferences.  Gary also sits on the CAILBA board.

About the presentation: The findings confirm that talking to clients about philanthropy can help deepen the relationship as well as increase advisors’ business through new referrals to family, friends and colleagues. In this presentation, Gary will discuss various topics around charitable giving as well as providing insight and resources to help you enhance your philanthropic conversations with clients.
