Professional Development Luncheon

Thursday November 9th, 2017

12:00noon - 12:30pm. Registration, Networking and Lunch

12:30p.m. - 1:30p.m. Presentation (via Skype) by:

Mark Phillips, Managing Director, Bluefrog Fundraising

Richard Radcliffe, Founder, Radcliffe Consulting

Interviewer: Kimberley Blease, EVP Client Relationships, Blakely

Everyone is talking about legacies and planned giving. Legacy fundraising is already active in many countries, and proving extremely important to ensure charities future success and potential.  Some charities and cause areas are seeing substantial growth in legacy income and others are not.
In this exclusive special live video skype education session, you'll learn from the masterful Richard Radcliffe and Mark Phillips about what the UK and worldwide clients are doing to secure more legacy gifts.  You'll learn the tools and tactics needed to transform your own legacy programme and deliver significant growth in income within 3 - 5 years.  With 1 in 3 older people thinking they are very likely to leave a legacy to a charity in the future we are at a historic moment of opportunity. But only if we get our communications and cultivation programmes absolutely the best they can be.

mark_phillips.jpgMark Phillips is Managing Director of Bluefrog Fundraising with decades of experience in direct marketing, legacy fundraising, digital fundraising and research into understanding what makes donors tick. Proudly been described as a "brand-grump" and as "offering tough love to the sector".  Everything he does is driven by responding to what donors actually need from charities. Works and regularly presents in the UK and internationally. Loves fundraising and shares thoughts and ideas through queerideas.co.uk.

richard_radcliffe.jpgRichard has 30 years of experience in legacies/planned giving across the world. Having met over 28,000 donors and volunteers through legacy focus groups, including many in Canada, he loves sharing the views he has been privileged to listen to. He works with every type of non-profit and has recently written his first book on legacy giving: "Why legacies are brilliant and how charities can get them". He is now an age to be a great prospect and, quite typically, is getting more grumpy and pedantic as he grows older. But his enthusiasm also grows every year.
