Megan Tregunno, CFRE, is Vice President, Chief Advancement Officer at Women's College Hospital (WCH) Foundation. Megan joined WCH Foundation in April 2011 and is part of the senior executive team. Currently leading the Foundation’s advancement efforts, Megan and her team work with principal and major donors and community volunteers to fulfill their philanthropic aspirations through the revolutionary work of WCH. Prior to her current role, she was Executive Director, Chief Community Officer and previously Director of Development & Campaign.

As a key member of the executive team, she was instrumental in leading the successful completion of the largest capital campaign in WCH’s history – $77M towards the $555-million state-of-the-art new home of WCH in Toronto – one of Canada’s most innovative, fully outpatient healthcare institutions focused on revolutionizing healthcare for women and for all.

Prior to joining WCH Foundation, Megan was Fund Development Director with Hellingman Communications in Hamilton where she provided strategic fundraising and communications counsel to non-profit organizations across Ontario. Her area of specialty includes major gifts fundraising and capital campaigns, having led three major campaigns in under three years from feasibility study across to the finish line for client organizations with no existing fundraising capacity.

An esteemed member of the fundraising community, Megan was named an inaugural “Top 40 Under 40” recipient with the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy in 2018 and holds a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation. She also holds an Honours Communication Studies Degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Fundraising Development Certificate from Mohawk College. She is an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and previously led the Education and Marketing & Communications portfolios on the Board of Directors for AFP (Golden Horseshoe Chapter). She is also an instructor with AFP’s Fundamentals of Fundraising program, an educational course designed for newcomers to the profession.
