Estate Administration and Management of Estate Gifts
The “executor’s year” doesn’t always proceed smoothly. This presentation will discuss the family disputes, complicated assets, and other factors that may lead to a delayed estate administration. We will also review the: obligations of the executor, early and ongoing reporting requirements to charitable beneficiaries, recent case law on the cy-près doctrine – the safety net for faulty charitable clauses in wills, and importance of proper will drafting.
