This is a virtual event so we will email you the link the night of June 21.

As planned giving professionals we spend a lot of time talking to people about creating their legacy. This is an opportunity to focus on the importance of healthy living as part of our own legacy. Join your fellow CAGP members on June 22 for a virtual sit down with Lianne and Pat to discuss our own health. They will share the importance of our physical well-being and what they do to stay healthy and how they inspire others to set and reach their own health goals. 

Lianne Laing and Pat Woodcock are both professionals with their own busy lives which includes family obligations, the demands and stress of work, making time to give back to their community and staying healthy.

 

Lianne Laing

liane_laing_cagp.png   Lianne spent 20 years working in broadcast television as a sports anchor and morning show host with CTV Bell Media. In late 2017 Lianne left the world of television behind and created a health and wellness brand called ‘Living Your Life w Lianne Laing”. With over 140 podcast episodes with guests from around the world, a European wellness cruise in 2019 and website, the company embraced helping people live longer, healthier, happier lives. In the summer of 2020 Lianne became the Executive Director of the University of Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation. She is also the VP of Philanthropy and the Chief Advancement Officer to the Heart Institute. A former elite gymnast and the mother of two teenage girls, she continues to motivate, coach and inspire others with daily Facebook Live workouts every weekday. It helps keep her accountable!

 

Pat Woodcock

Pat Woodcock is a strength, speed, & conditioning coach, personal trainer, nutrition/supplement coach, and speaker. He has coached professional athletes in football, basketball, lacrosse, and soccer, won a Grey Cup Championship as the Head Strength Coordinator of the CFL’s Ottawa RedBlacks, and is a multi-year nominee as Ottawa’s Top Personal Trainer. Pat was also named to Ottawa’s Top 40 Under 40 Business People as the owner of Elite Performance Academy, one of the premier Health, Fitness, and Human Performance facilities in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

In addition to training and coaching, Pat is a respected and sought after speaker and presenter for conferences, organizations, and companies. Whether presenting on specific training modalities or about optimizing personal health and performance, Pat is passionate about sharing his knowledge and experience to help people live stronger, healthier, and optimized lives. Some of the companies he has worked with include Football Canada, CBC Hockey Nation, Royal Bank of Canada, Mackenzie Investments, and the Catalyst Conference.

Prior to coaching, Pat had an 8-year Professional Football career in the NFL and CFL. During his playing career, he won a Grey Cup Championship, was named Most Outstanding Canadian Player, and was named a division All-Star.

Pat earned his Bachelor of Science from Syracuse University, and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA, a National Level 3 Performance Specialist through the Poliquin Group, a Level 1 Certified Precision Nutrition Coach, a Level 1 Certified Hormone Specialist through the Nutritional Coaching Institute, and is Titleist Performance Institute Certified.
