Details Matter: Ensuring Your Charity Gets the Full Benefit of its Legacy Gift

You are notified that a donor has left your charity a gift in their will. Fabulous news! Champagne flows in the office. Then reality hits: what does your charity need to do to acknowledge the gift, monitor the executor’s progress, and ensure your charity gets the full benefit of the donor’s intended gift? This session will focus on best practices when dealing with executors and how to properly oversee the executor’s administration of an estate. It is not a session on charitable receipting.

Roger Lee

Since his call to the bar, Roger Lee has developed an extensive practice in trust and estate litigation. He assists individuals with respect to their rights under the wills variation legislation, as well as issues relating to the validity of wills. This session is a Webinar Viewing. Bring your own lunch, listen to a professional gift planner or advisor share their expertise through a live webinar, and network with your colleagues for only $10.
