PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT LUNCHEON

May 7th, 2019

12:00 - 12:30 p.m        Registration, Networking and Lunch

12:30 - 1:30 p.m          Presentation by Emma Lewzey, CFRE and Laura Satin Levin

If you want to raise more big gifts at your small or mid-sized shop, you're missing out if you haven't tapped into the incredible potential of planned giving.

This first half of this session will focus on proven, practical tips and ideas from the front lines of fundraising that you can take back and implement at your organization.

The second half will delve deep into a fascinating story that proves transformational gifts are possible at any size shop – we'll be doing a detailed case study of a one-person development shop that recently landed a $7M bequest, thanks to incredible collaboration between the CEO, Board and staff team.

emmalewzey_bio_pic_1.jpgEmma Lewzey, CFRE is an award-winning fundraising expert with 20+ years experience raising over $100M across the arts, education, health and human services sectors in small and large shops. Emma is the founder and principal consultant at Blue Sky Philanthropy and is the National Chair of the Association of Fundraising Professional's Fellowship in Inclusion and Philanthropy, a unique program that supports emerging fundraising leaders who reflect the diversity of our communities.
