A growing concern for gift planners and financial advisors is how to communicate with donors and clients who are showing early signs of dementia. The fact is more than 70,000 British Columbians live with dementia, and everyone’s journey is unique. What are the early warning signs? How do we broach the topic of planning and gifting with tact and respect for the individual and always abide by ethical guidelines? When should family members become involved in gifting decisions? How can you stage your workplace and home visits for optimal comfort for the individual? What tips are there to make your meetings more ‘dementia friendly’? Join this panel discussion and leave the session more informed.

This event will be held at the Sutton Place Hotel.
