CRA Updated Guidances for Charities

Canada Revenue Agency recently released a number of new and updated guidances for registered charities. The guidances replace various summary policies that were in effect for those topics, including advancement of education, relief of poverty and charities work through intermediaries.
Join us as we provide a summary of the changes and their implications for registered charities.
Jordyn Allan is an Associate at Miller Thomson and maintains a general corporate commercial practice, with a focus in the charities and not-for-profits sector. She provides general advice to these entities regarding incorporations, charitable registrations, operating in foreign jurisdictions, reporting, and general regulatory compliance.
