For over 25 years, Jill Nelson, CFRE, has facilitated donor giving to a variety of charities, large and small, and has been deeply touched by the joy that philanthropy provides to the giver and receiver – and the advisors who make it happen! She has been part of the Major Gifts team at The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation for over 12 years, where she is Associate Vice-President, Estate Giving.

Jill is on the National Board of the Canadian Association of Gift Planners (CAGP-ACPDP), chairs the CAGP Education Committee, and participates on the program committee for CAGP’s annual National Conference on Strategic Philanthropy. She is Faculty for the Original Gift Planning Course (known as the “Banff course”) and Gift Planning Fundamentals. Jill received the Jasmine Sweatman Award from the GTA Chapter in 2011, and is a “Friend of CAGP."
