Join the Kamloops Chapter of CAGP as we outline the basics of wills variation – who is entitled to vary a will, how it is done, and what factors the Court considers.

This seminar will also provide some legal guidance on the situation of charities who might find themselves named in a will that is subject to a wills variation application, and practical advice for such charities.

Our keynote speaker for the morning will be Tyson McNeil-Hay, an Associate at Fulton & Company who devotes a large portion of his practice to estate litigation matters. He has been involved in several lawsuits involving charitable bequests. He frequently presents to financial professionals and others concerning estate laws and best practices.
