Guest Speaker

Paul Nazareth is one of this year’s most recently named “Friend of CAGP” and has spent 16 years in Gift Planning. As Vice President of Community Engagement with CanadaHelps, Paul’s team works directly with over 17,000 charities as they fundraise, thousands of donors as they give and hundreds of advisors as they facilitate client philanthropy.  He has been a philanthropic advisor with the Scotiabank Group and spent over a decade with charities like the University of Toronto and the Catholic Church of Greater Toronto.  He teaches a national online Planned Giving course with the postgraduate fundraising program at Georgian College, is Chair of the Advisory team at the Humber College postgraduate fundraising program, as well as a national instructor with CAGP and writes on philanthropy for a variety of publications.

Nous étudierons 5 tendances en matière de dons stratégiques (majeurs et planifiés), qui auront une incidence sur vos collectes de fonds et vos dons en 2017 : diversité, dons majeurs électroniques, investisseurs-donateurs, réseaux de conseillers et formation interne du personnel. Notre conférencier a œuvré plusieurs années dans le domaine de la collecte de fonds en tant que conseiller professionnel, et travaille maintenant auprès d’un organisme de bienfaisance qui facilite les dons en ligne tous les jours de l'année. Vous repartirez de cette conférence avec des idées qui vous aideront à obtenir davantage, à fournir un meilleur service aux donateurs et à traiter les dons plus rapidement; en un mot, vous pourrez commencer l’année 2017 de manière stratégique.

Il a été conseiller philanthropique auprès du Groupe Banque Scotia et a passé plus d'une décennie auprès d’organismes de bienfaisance tels que l'Université de Toronto et l'Église catholique du Grand Toronto. Il donne un cours de dons planifiés en ligne avec le programme de recherche postuniversitaire du Collège Georgian, est président de l'équipe consultative du programme de recherche postuniversitaire du Collège Humber et instructeur national à l’ACPDP, en plus d’avoir écrit de nombreux articles sur la philanthropie pour diverses publications.
