The experience proved there'\ ;s far too much at stake not to do this well. How we work together directly impacts business success \, employee well-being\, employer reputation\, and ultimately those whom the business serves. My sen se that quality of work life and business success are interdependent told me there had to be better ways to create the right conditions for business s uccess and employee well-being.\n \n Why then do m ost organizational development initiatives fail? I needed to know the answer and how to do it effect ively\, which led me to train as a scholar-practit ioner. Two weeks into graduate school\, I felt lik e I'\;d come home! It was thrilling to learn mo dels\, concepts\, and names for the things that go on in the spaces between people that I'\;d alw ays noticed but didn'\;t know how to make sense of. Thirty-five years later\, I'\;m as passion ate as ever about helping to create healthy human systems in service of business excellence.\n \n I have a PhD in Applied Social Psychology and extens ive training from the \;NTL Institute for Appl ied Behavioural Science\, as well as being a Chart ered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR). For d ecades\, I served as a faculty member in Royal Roa ds University'\;s \;Conflict Analysis &\ ; Management Graduate Program\, a Professional Aff iliate of the U of S Department of Psychology\, an d a faculty member in \;Executive Education&nb sp\;at the Edwards School of Business. I'\;m al so a seasoned MBTI practitioner\, and a long-stand ing mentor in the \;Betty-Ann Heggie Womentors hip Program \;and volunteer instructor for&nbs p\;Leadership Saskatoon. Whatever the context\, I bring together relevant and robust theory\, resear ch\, and practice to help those I serve to address real issues\, of real concern\, to real people\, in real time.\n \n I deeply love our city and prov ince\, was raised to contribute to community\, and am a life-long learner. I enjoy stimulating conve rsation\, the arts\, compelling ideas\, and shared laughter. My now adult children have\, and contin ue to be\, remarkable teachers. Home and the garde n are my sanctuary.\n \n "\;Broadening perspec tive is key to identifying root causes and a path for sustainable improvement. There are always more than two sides to a story. Even a coin has a thir d side &ndash\; the edge."\;\n \n  \; CATEGORIES:Chapter Event CALSCALE:GREGORIAN DTSTAMP;VALUE=DATE-TIME:20260204T113000 DTSTART;VALUE=DATE-TIME:20260204T113000 DTEND;VALUE=DATE-TIME:20260204T133000 LOCATION:Holy Family Parish - Board Room - upstairs\n 123 N elson Rd\n Saskatoon\, SK S7S 1H1\n Canada\n ORGANIZER:MAILTO:stacey.schewaga@usask.ca URL:https://www.cagp-acpdp.org/en/civicrm/event/info?reset=1&id=1648 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
