Our Mission
National Perspective - Enriching Canadian Philanthropy Through Awareness, Education & Advocacy
Established in 1993, the Canadian Association of Gift Planners (CAGP-ACPDP™) supports philanthropy by fostering the development and growth of gift planning in Canada. The CAGP-ACPDP™ creates awareness, provides education and is an advocate of charitable giving.
The CAGP-ACPDP™ brings together professionals from various disciplines to ensure that the gift planning process achieves a fair and proper balance between the interests of donors and the aims and objectives of registered charitable organizations in Canada in accordance with the CAGP-ACPDP™ Code of Ethics.
Local Network – Connecting Ottawa’s Gift PlannersThe CAGP-ACPDP™ Ottawa RoundTable works within the region of Ottawa to create awareness of and promote charitable giving, to develop and deliver education and professional development programming for local gift planners, and to foster a strong professional and social network of fellow gift planners in our community who share CAGP-ACPDP™’s mission and guiding principles.
