Recent research clearly shows that direct mail donors have tremendous potential to make legacy gifts. Even the most ordinary mail donor is making substantial charitable bequests to charity. The question is, “Will they leave it to you?” This session will clearly and practically show you how to use tried and true market research tools to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward legacy gifts from those “little donors” at the very bottom of your fundraising pyramid.

Fraser Green is a Principal at FLA Group, a fundraising consulting agency that is the world’s leader at using market research to leverage legacy gifts from direct mail donors. Fraser is co-author of a new book titled Iceberg Philanthropy. He was named the AFP Ottawa Outstanding Fundraising Executive in 2007.
