Danielle Dagenais-Pérusse

It is with great sadness that we have learned of the death of Danielle Danielle Dagenais-Pérusse, deceased on January 21, 2008. For the past few years, she had been struggling with cancer. Mrs. Dagenais-Pérusse was very active in the world of philanthropy and most particularly, the Canadian Association of Gift Planners.

Chair of the Montreal RoundTable from 1996-98, she also participated on the LEAVE A LEGACY™ Committee launched in 2000. During this time, she worked for the “Fondation de l’UQAM» as Director of Major Gifts and Planned Giving. Mrs. Dagenais-Pérusse was also a member of the National Board of Directors of the CAGP-ACPDP™ (2000-2004) and Chair of the National Ethics Committee of the CAGP-ACPDP™. Her contributions led to the adoption of the New Code of Ethics 2004 for members of the CAGP-ACPDP™. In 2003, the Association recognized her work and honoured her with the «Friend of CAGP-ACPDP™» Award.
