The CAGP-ACPDP™ are pleased to team up with the Canadian Academy of Senior Advisors to offer a pre-conference learning session that can move you towards a designation as a Certified Senior Advisor.

Why CSA?
The unique thing about CAGP-ACPDP™ is that many of our members are already specialists in their field and come from all walks of life. But what we have in common is that many of us are dealing with seniors – people who are making their final wishes.

What is a CSA?
A Certified Senior Advisor is a professional dedicated to providing the highest quality of service possible to their Boomer and Senior Clients. CSA’s learn about the physical, social and psychological aspects of aging, understand how grief and loss affect each of us, learn about financial and estate planning requirements, wellness, spirituality, and most importantly, the ethics of dealing with older clients.

All CSA’s must pass a certification exam and sign a Code of Professional Responsibility- placing their clients best interests in the forefront at all times. These commitments are monitored by an independent Board of Standards, dedicated to preserving the integrity of the CSA designation.

Certified Senior Advisors (CSA) have supplemented their individual professional licenses, credentials and education with knowledge about aging and working with seniors. This certification is suited to those working in the profession of gift planning and for this reason, the CAGP-ACPDP™ has teamed up with the Canadian Academy of Senior Advisors to offer you the opportunity to take the CSA Fast Track training option prior to the CAGP Annual Conference. To find out more about this unique opportunity, visit http://www.canadacsa.com/fast_start.php where you can register for the one-day course.
