The “Original” Canadian Gift Planning Course:

The only week long comprehensive course for Canadian fund development professionals!

The Canadian Gift Planning course, CAGP-ACPDP™’s week-long course, is the longest running and most respected course on Canadian philanthropy. Founded in 1990, this demanding comprehensive seminar provides in-depth education on the full range of gift planning issues: from detailed information on the tax aspects of gift planning to topics such as working with donors, program marketing, stewardship, and ethics.

The course provides an unrivalled educational experience, balancing formal classroom learning, in-depth discussions, group work, and case studies. No wonder Canadian Gift Planning is known as the "boot camp" of Canadian gift planning.

This comprehensive course in gift planning is suitable for: charity-based gift planners with fewer than five years in the profession, directors of development and executive directors, as well as major gift officers.

Please note that this course is completely comprehensive – covering all aspects of gift planning – from the technical to the “soft” side. You will spend the week with colleagues from across the country – learning from them as well as the two wonderful faculty chosen specifically for this course. Most of all, you need to know that this is a very intense week – a fun and one-of-a-kind experience but where you will be fully immersed in the world of gift planning 24/7.

For some great testimonials from “survivors” and pictures of previous courses, see bottom of page.

This course fills up quickly with only the first 44 registrants accepted for attendance.
