CAGP National Education Offerings

CAGP-ACPDP™ is the premier education provider for professionals working in the charitable, non-profit and advisor sectors. CAGP-ACPDP™ provides a number of educational offerings to its members at discounted rates as well as to non-members at competitive prices.

Among CAGP-ACPDP™’s educational offerings:

The Original Canadian Gift Planning course: Beginning in the early 1990’s, Frank Minton and Lorna Somers developed and taught the course in Banff, Alberta. In 1999, the course came under the auspices of CAGP-ACPDP™ and continues to operate to this day as the “boot camp” of Planned Giving education. Not to be considered introductory, the course is comprehensive, intense and set in beautiful, remote locations.

As this course has evolved over the years we have added an excellent group of Faculty.  We are also pleased to announce this course has received approval for Continuing Education units from both CFRE and Advocis.

The Advanced Canadian Gift Planning Course
We are planning an Advanced Course in the Fall 2009, with a possibility of one sooner.  If you are interested in attending an Advanced Course you will be placed on an "Interested Participants" list by contacting Sharyon Smith at education@cagp-acpdp.org

The Advanced Gift Planning Symposium:
We have no immediate plans to hold this course.   However, if you wish to be placed on an "Interested Participants" list please contact Sharyon Smith at education@cagp-acpdp.org .

The Annual National Conference: CAGP-ACPDP™ is proud to offer an annual national conference every spring. The conference is a two and a half day event where attendees can choose from a wide variety of topics offered by experienced speakers. The national conference is the ultimate networking experience and the place to discover the latest trends in gift planning from industry leaders. Whether you’re new to gift planning or a veteran, the National CAGP-ACPDP™ Conference has something for everyone.
